Mackay Airport located in Mackay, Queensland, Australia is a major Australian regional airport that services the city of Mackay, with flights to the cities of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns. Public toilets (including facilities for particular needs people) are available in the concourse and departure lounge. A Parents Room is located at the check-in area. Showers are located within the concourse toilet blocks. A public phone is located near the check-in area. Baby high chairs are available at the Flavours Café. Wheelchairs are available at the front of the terminal. Trolley bays are located throughout the car parks, in front of, and inside, the terminal building. Flavours Cafe, the Departure Lounge Kiosk and the newly refurbished Bar at the Mackay Airport. The Cafe caters for passengers and visitors alike by providing a great range of hot foods, cakes, slices and delicious Lavazza Coffee. Freshly made sandwiches and salads are prepared each day on the premises. The newly refurbished bar is open from 10.00am each day, serving a selection of beer, wine and spirits. There is also a bar menu offering a choice of finger foods to enjoy while catching up on the latest news and sports on the Bar’s television. As no hot beverages are permitted through passenger security screening, these are available in the Departure Lounge Kiosk. The Kiosk is open Monday to Saturday, serving hot and cold drinks, light refreshments, newspapers and magazines. Snack Boxes are also available to be taken and enjoyed on flight, with two Boxes to choose from: either a Sandwich Pack or Snack Pack.
